Celebrate Mother’s Day in a truly special way at Casa Italiana Zerilli-Marimò at New York University with our gardening event, a delightful day of bonding and green-thumb fun. Children and their mothers/caregivers will immerse themselves in the beauty of nature as they embark on a journey of planting and creativity. Together, families will water the colorful plants in Casa’s beautiful garden, nurturing them with care and love. They will engage in an interactive presentation where everyone will learn the fascinating process of how plants grow, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation for the natural world. Mothers/caregivers and children will then express artistic skills as we provide paint and decorations for small terracotta pots. Families will adorn their pots with personal flair, creating unique works of art to bring home and cherish. Children will also decorate a big paper tree indoors with paper flowers and will create nature inspired bracelets for their moms. A heartwarming Mother’s Day celebration filled with laughter, learning, and the joy of gardening and love for nature.
