Join us for a fun, hands-on experience in the kitchen as we explore the delicious world of Tiramisù, one of Italy’s most beloved desserts!
Part of La Casa dei Piccoli series, this special workshop by Casa Italiana in collaboration with Allora Cultural Center invites children to learn about the origins of Tiramisù and then dive right into making their own version under the guidance of Chef Valentina Carbone.
In this child-friendly class, the classic Tiramisù is adapted without coffee or raw eggs to ensure it’s safe and delicious for little ones. Children will whip cream with sugar, dip cookies in chocolate milk, and layer their creation with chocolate chips and a dusting of cocoa powder. At the end, they’ll even get to taste Chef Valentina’s famous version of the dessert and receive a certificate of completion.
These cooking activities offer much more than just a tasty treat. They encourage creativity, motor skills, and teamwork, while fostering a sense of accomplishment as children follow the process, from beginning to end. Cooking together is also a wonderful way for families to bond, share cultural traditions, and enjoy quality time.
Don’t miss this opportunity for your child to discover the joy of cooking, and the pride of creating something they can truly call their own!
