In ENGLISH and ITALIAN
Join Allora’s Music educator Laura Montanari (Ed.D. in Music & Music Education) on a fun and exciting musical adventure. I Musicanti is a unique music class with songs and musical games, maracas, guitar and percussion to have fun together. Children will explore different melodies and rhythms, fostering a sense of rhythm and coordination through the use of body percussion as well. The music teacher will play her guitar inviting everyone to sing Italian, English and bilingual children’s songs together. Children will explore different instruments, drums, and props to create a dynamic and interactive learning experience, fostering their sense of rhythm and coordination.
Please RSVP by age group:
Group A 3:30-4:00: 0-2 year olds and their caregivers
Group B 4:15-4:45: 3-4 year olds and their caregivers
Group C 5:00-5:30: 5-7 year olds
Only register the child (no need to register the parent/caregiver)
What to Expect:
Live Music: Sing along as the teacher plays the guitar.
Bilingual Fun: Enjoy songs in Italian and English.
Hands-On Exploration: Play different instruments, use props, and engage in body percussion.
Family Bonding: A fun experience to share with caregivers.

La Casa dei Piccoli is a series of events for children sponsored by Casa Italiana Zerilli-Marimò at NYU in collaboration with Allora – Creative Cultural Center. Coordinated by our Media and Communications Strategist, Chiara Basso, the series offers activities for children ages 2 to 12, aimed at encouraging them to learn, speak or improve their Italian in fun and engaging ways. All La Casa dei Piccoli events are free, open to families, and held at 24 West 12th Street.
