Studio Capone of Lecce, which deals with business consulting, including in the field of internationalization, is promoting the first edition of “Food and Future,” a video-art prize competition dedicated to the theme of food, with free participation, reserved for students of the Italian Academies of Fine Arts – Bari, Lecce and Naples in this edition – with a final evening at the Casa Italiana Zerilli- Marimò of New York University. The purpose of the initiative is to promote the work of young artists from the Italian Academies of Fine Arts by giving them visibility, including international visibility, and engaging them in a creative challenge through reflections on food and in particular on the themes of sustainability, equitable distribution of food resources, spreading knowledge of the Mediterranean diet and the centrality of Italian food.

Twelve finalist videos (of up to 3 minutes each), selected by authoritative teachers from the individual academies, will be presented on the evening, ending with the announcement of the winner of the First Edition of Food and Future, who will receive a 500€ prize.

The Casa Italiana audience will be invited to vote for an Honorable Mention award.
