Where do you keep your favorite old clothes? It depends. Surely, walk-in closets, racks, and storages are possibilities that never appealed to Alba Clemente. A former actress, current costume designer, and artists’ muse (as well as a vibrant presence in Vanity Fair’s Best Dressed List), a few years ago, Alba envisioned the one and only option that suited her: she built a small theater in her husband’s studio in Greenpoint.

Il teatrino, as she named it, soon became not only a little box of treasures and a setting for intimate performances, but a place where a genuine passion for clothes and drama is magically unveiled.
