Maria Antonietta Torriani (1840-1920), better known as La Marchesa Colombi, was a writer and the first female journalist at Il Corriere della Sera. She was the quintessential proto-feminist and became a protagonist of the intellectual circles of turn-of-the-century Italy. For this episode of Tutti a Casa! journalist Maria Teresa Cometto will talk about her book, La Marchesa Colombi: Vita, romanzi e passioni della prima giornalista del Corriere della Sera (2020, Solferino) with Professor Antonia Arslan, the leading scholar of Italian Women Writers between 19th and 20th century.

In ITALIAN with ENGLISH subtitles.
