This performance is part of the “Peperoncino Jazz Festival New York Session” and will feature the charismatic frontman Gianluca Guidi (son of the great Johnny Dorelli), a singer and actor of great artistic depth, and a well known radio and television personality. He will be accompanied by the great pianist Michael Kanan (Jimmy Scott, Jane Monheit, Mark Turner), double-bass player with Italian roots Alexander Claffy (collaborated with Jimmy Cobb, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Christian Scott, Wallace Roney and many others) and internationally known Neapolitan drummer Elio Coppola. Through a show titled “That’s Life!”, they will pay tribute to the most famous Italian-American in the history of music: Frank Sinatra. The eclectic crooner will entertain with music and anecdotes, singing many of the beautiful songs made famous by “The Voice” (from “New York, New York” to “My Way”, from “That Old Feeling” to “LA is my Lady”).
