Dance Again With Me Heywood! – featuring Academy-Award winning writer, director and producer James Ivory and directed by Michele Diomà – tells the story of a lonely man who lives in New York, and makes friends with a young woman through the common love of dance. Both suffer from a particular condition, the Lunar Butterfly Syndrome, which makes them invisible to anyone who is not affected by the same disease.
American Marriage, directed by Giorgio Arcelli Fontana, is an award winning comedy short film that tells the story of Leonardo, a New York Italian immigrant facing deportation, who fakes a marriage with Hispanic single mother Nikki in order to obtain a Green Card. Will they be able to trick the government?
Michele Diomà made his directorial debut with Howard Costello’s Last Dream. Later with producer Renzo Rossellini, he began an ongoing collaboration dedicated to making films aimed at defending and divulging the history of cinema not subjected to the impositions of the film industry, an operation that Renzo Rosselli had already begun with Mario Monicelli. A project that saw the birth of Cinema Year Zero and then of the very recent Born in the U.S.E., both directed by Michele Diomà.
