Spring 2025 Schedule
S/Conosciuto (“Unknown/Well-Known”)
Vivaldi, Rossini, Donizetti, Verdi, Catalani, Respighi: let’s hear the composers we know and love. But what of their contemporaries who are not household names? How do their works compare to those of the greats? Come listen to beloved favorites – balanced by lesser-known works – for an exhilarating exploration of Italian music this Spring.
Please note: Casa Italiana serves as the venue and supporter of various clubs’ activities. The coordinators of these clubs are responsible for programming decisions, in alignment with the guidance of Casa leadership. For all information, please contact the coordinator of the lecture series, Gina Crusco, at ginacrusco@gmail.com.
Through open activities, events, and immersive experiences, Casa’s mission is to create a space for dialogue between Italy and the United States on themes related to Italian studies, including language, literature, cinema, music, theatre, visual art, as well as politics, economics, and lifestyle.
