From one of the first wind quintets written in the 18th century, to charming works by Rossini, and ending with Respighi’s charming and exhilarating, “Gli Uccelli”, you won’t want to miss this concert!

Watch the video: Remembering Renata ScottoThe third Adventure in Italian Opera with Fred Plotkin of this season is dedicated to the memory of one of the greatest sopranos of the 20th century, Renata Scotto (1934-2023), who was a guest of Casa Italiana’s longest-lasting series in 2015. Fred will be joined on stage by Scotto’s daughter Laura Anselmi, mezzo-soprano Claudia Catania, and artist manager Robert Lombardo.
