In the picture, the Italian singer and actor Peppe Voltarelli travels from Argentina to the United States in search of Toni Vilar, a singer of Sicilian origin who moved to Argentina in his early twenties and became a very popular star. Reconstructing the principal steps of his career and private life, Peppe learns that Tony interrupted his career at the age of 24 for the shame of having lost his hair. From Argentina to New York, he meets several members (or maybe characters) of the Italian-American community, first in Buenos Aires and then in the Bronx.
