You and Me and Gender

This panel is part of the 2019 In Scena! Italian Theater Festival. This year, the festival is presenting a series of conversations on the topic of Gender. What does Gender mean in 2019? How do different groups of people (youths, women, the LGBTQ community…) feel about the term? Is there a ‘gender issue’?

Prior to a double-bill by and about women and their relationship to men, Noga La’or (co-founder, FELT NYC) will be in conversation with Danny Salim (Senior Director, Anti-Violence Program, Arab-American Family Support Center) to discuss how men and women in different countries are experiencing their genders and what is expected from them by their fellow citizens.
