in conversation with
Anthony Tamburri (Dean, John D. Calandra Italian American Institute, Queens College, CUNY)

The episode will be broadcast live on Casa's Facebook Page and website

As part of an homage to the recently passed Italian American authors Vittoria Repetto and Joseph Tusiani, Stefano Albertini and Anthony Tamburri will briefly journey through the history of Italian American literature, from its origins at the time of the great Italian migration to the breakthroughs of De Lillo, Talese, and Puzo, all the way to the authors of today. They will address the question of the collocation of this literature within or alongside the Italian literary output and will feature a selection of excerpts read by NYU students Yanki Ayhan, Mariluna Busa-Casotto, Giorgia Valenti.
