Italics, Television for the Italian American Experience is a monthly presentation in the CUNY Presents timeslot that features prominent Italian Americans in the arts, business, government, sports, academia, and more. Each episode explores various aspects of the Italian diaspora, Italian-American history and traditions, contemporary Italian-American life, and takes a projected look at the future of the Italian-American community.

Stefano Albertini, 25 years at NYU – Casa Italiana Zerilli – Marimò 2.0

Stefano Albertini welcomes i-Italy to New York University’s Casa Italiana Zerilli – Marimò, of which he is the Director. He tells his story, talks about how he got from Bozzolo, near Mantova, to NYU, where he just recently celebrated his “silver anniversary,” shares some of his fondest memories of the late Baroness Zerilli – Marimò (“a force of nature”), of his students, of some of the most significant initiatives organized by the Casa in the course of the years, and anticipates their latest project: Casa 2.0.
