Overview
On the occasion of the 100th birthday of legendary Italian actress and playwright Franca Valeri, Kairos Italy Theater has curated – in collaboration with Casa Italiana Zerilli-Marimò – a series dedicated to women playwrights in comedy.
KIT received about 300 submissions by female playwrights from several countries including Australia, New Zealand, the US, Italy, Greece, Brasil, France, South America, and Canada. An international jury selected 15 of them. The first 9 will be presented on May 18th through a live performance on the Zoom platform.
Women in Comedy from Around the World is presented by Kairos Italy Theater and NYU Casa Italiana Zerilli-Marimò in collaboration with TARTE, Group Br, Eclipses Theater Group, and KIT Italia.
In order to participate, RSVP and you will receive an e-mail with invitation link to the event a few hours prior to the start time on Monday.
Following the performance, you will be able to vote here for your favorite plays.
