Step into a world of high fashion and high drama, where a friendship transformed a legend. Join us as we explore the captivating story of Puccini’s granddaughter Elvira Leonardi Bouyeure, known as Biki, a celebrated couturière who reigned over Milanese society from the Thirties onward. It was in Biki’s salons that Maria Callas, the unforgettable soprano, underwent a stunning metamorphosis in the Fifties, forging a bond built on trust and a shared vision of exquisite style.

Simona Segre Reinach is a cultural anthropologist and Professor of Fashion Studies at the University of Bologna. Author of several books, she is now working on the first monograph of the Italian fashion designer Romeo Gigli.
