The 20th anniversary of Casa Italiana Zerilli-Marimò

On November 4, 2010, New York University will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Casa Italiana Zerilli-Marimò with a concert and a gala dinner that will raise funds to support the mission of the Casa.

Casa has recently unveiled the logo for the anniversary created by graphic designer Luigi Scarcella Perino. In the logo the “I” that stands for “italiana” becomes part of the famous NYU torch.

The concert will take place in the NYU Skirball Center on Washington Square South and will feature Maestro Marco Armiliato conducting the NYU Symphony Orchestra, Metropolitan Opera soloist Maija Kovalevska, as well as highlights from Light in the Piazza featuring Broadway performers from the casts of Hair, Phantom of the Opera, and La Cage Aux Folles - all of whom trained in the NYU Steinhardt Music Theatre Program. During the gala dinner that will follow the concert, NYU will honor Casa’s founder, Baroness Mariuccia Zerilli-Marimò,  Ken Langone (businessman and co-founder of the Home Depot), and Maria Bartiromo (Business News anchor, CNBC) for their lifetime achievements. RSVP by filling out the response form. The form should be printed, downloaded, filled out and mailed or faxed to Trevor Cano, NYU, at (212) 995-4020
