Italian Cultural Diplomacy in New York

What’s Italian cultural diplomacy?

In this conversation, an online round table organized by The Ragusa Foundation for the Humanities, the directors of three of the most active Italian cultural institutions in New York debate issues related to the spreading of Italian art and culture in an international setting.

Please, listen to the insights by Stefano Albertini Mussini (Clinical Professor of Italian studies at NYU and a long-time Director of the NYU Casa Italiana Zerilli-Marimò), Vittorio Calabrese (Executive Director of Magazzino Italian Art Foundation) and Nicola Lucchi (Executive Director of the Center for Italian Modern Art in New York, CIMA Foundation), moderated by Andrea Ciccarelli (President of the Ragusa Foundation).

They explain how these three nongovernmental, cultural institutions promote Italian culture, arts, heritage, and language in the city. And how their efforts play a significant role in fostering international relations, promoting mutual understanding, while strengthening the cultural bonds between Italy and New York.
